Do Those Traffic Attorney’s really work?

I got two tickets the other day, one for failure to move over for a emergency vehicle and the other was for my two front windows tints being too dark. I live in Florida and within the next couple of days I get bookus of mail talking about traffic ticket lawyers and attorney’s. I called one of them and they guaranteed me no points on my license. Has anyone ever used these type of services before and do they really work??

Thank you

It’s not a "service," it’s an actual lawyer sending you an advertisement. They buy lists of offenders from local towns and send out letters to all the addresses on the list. Yes, they are legitimate attorneys, but you still have to be careful – some lawyers are better than others. Ask them what their fees are up front and find out how long they have been practicing. For a simple ticket like tinted windows and failure to yield, they can probably knock it down to a no-point ticket. But be wary of lawyers who make too many promises.
